History & Biography
“This is a testimony unlike any you’ve heard because it’s so honest. Brenda refuses to repent of learning, and failing, and even blesses her rebellion for what it taught her about life, pleasure, and real faith. What will upset the tightly wound religious more than anything is her insightful critique of the stifling, spiritless, dead church that she left behind. Brenda doesn’t pretend that everything was roses and rainbows back home. This legalistic, ‘elder-brother religion’ is not what she returns to—it’s what she comes back to dismantle and reform.”
