Gospel Brokenness

Christian Living

“Like a skilled surgeon, Clay Werner has carefully peeled away all the layers of our spiritual brokenness to get to the heart of the matter. . . . This is a must-read book for anyone looking to discover more gospel joy in the midst of life’s brokenness.”

Grace at Work

Christian Living

“With the right perspective, our seemingly mundane work from Monday to Friday can be filled with divine purpose and personal delight, whether you're a pastor or plumber, painter or programmer. Bryan Chapell reveals through this insightful and inspiring book that our work, seen through the lens of a God who creates and redeems all things with beauty, can actually demonstrate his own character and his care for those around us. In other words, our work can be worshipful and be a witness. So, if you're like me and you need the right paradigm to propel your daily work for God's glory and the good of those around you, read this book.”

Recovering Our Sanity

Christian Living

“With his usual yet uncommon balance of biblical, theological, and historical wisdom, Horton offers not only a penetrating analysis of our current current fear-driven cultural moment, but also provides a way forward that is both transcendent and timely. He reminds us that we are made by God and for God, and only in that recognition and reality can we drive out fear and find true rest and peace. Do you need help and encouragement navigating the stormy seas of life? Then take up and read this important book.”

Talking about Race

Ethics, Culture & Social Issues

“With clarity and insight, courage and compassion, Isaac Adams has provided an elixir of a book for Christians who are weary and worn out by the effects of the poison that often accompanies conversations on race and justice. Using realistic stories and Scripture to both illuminate the mind and stir the heart, he reveals the importance of learning how to lament and listen so as to more effectively learn and love the “other,” whoever that may be. His insights are realistic without being simplistic, pragmatic without being dogmatic. So, for anyone wishing to learn how to better navigate the challenging conversations regarding racial reconciliation, this book is a must-read.”

The Lord's Prayer

Christian Living

“Is it true that familiarity breeds contempt? I sure hope not, especially as it relates to the Lord’s Prayer. Many Christians can recite this prayer of Jesus by heart, but they may not realize how helpful it can be to both jump-start and sustain their often inert prayer life. With his usual clarity and profundity, Kevin DeYoung walks us through the Lord’s Prayer, revealing how it can be a foundation for all of our communion with God. So take up and read, because this book will help propel deeper faith in and stronger commitment to the gift that is prayer.”

The Rule of Love

Church Leadership & Ministry

“While multiple words can be used to describe the many strengths of Jonathan Leeman’s new book, the word that most comes to mind is timely. On the one hand, he clearly and cogently articulates how our culture has undermined the nature of God’s love, especially in relation to the ideas of authority and judgment. On the other hand, he persuasively and passionately presents how the church of Jesus Christ, armed with a biblical view of God’s love, can present to a needy world the goodness and beauty of God in multiple ways. Every church, with its pastors and people, needs to read this timely book.”
