Work, Money & Leadership
“Our culture sends two strong messages about work: either that it only holds value for personal gain, or that it is not worth the effort at all. Called to Cultivate deftly uses Scripture to remind us that the believer's work is divinely infused with redemptive kingdom potential. Chelsea Sobolik points to the blessing of work as worship, and its purpose for the flourishing of our families, friends, churches, and communities. Whether you serve in the marketplace, church, home, or all three, take up and find new hope when that early-morning alarm signals the start of a new day.”
Theology
“Pastor Wang Yi's sermons carry the heart of the New Testament Epistles that still echoes down history's halls. As he covers a wide range of historical, political, cultural, and spiritual topics for his own Early Rain congregation, Pastor Yi warns, prepares, exhorts, and ultimately lives the New Testament reality of costly proclamation. Just as our prayers will strengthen Pastor Yi in his prison cell, this sermon collection will strengthen saints worldwide to endure hardship and scorn for the sake of the kingdom—even amid our own fragile freedom.”
Bible Studies & Devotionals
“Quina Aragon's lyrical writing weaves poetry and Scripture to push our thoughts beyond our suffering. Her words, drawn from God's great love Story, linger in the soul and heal. Open this book, enter the Story, and receive this benediction.”
Christian Living
“Jasmine Holmes's Mother to Son is written for a far larger audience than just her own children; she has delivered a literary benediction to grace our bookshelves, challenge our earthly cultures, strengthen our feeble hearts, and point us toward lasting hope.”
Christian Living
“On Our Way Home deftly reveals Jesus welcoming us to the place we were always intended to be. Sister Chao has been graced with a poetic, reflective, and prophetic voice that ushers us from the valley of shadows to the shade of God's protective wing. Chao reveals the struggle to live as if we already dwell in our true Homeland before we arrive, and offers glimpses of the victories that come when we spend this life anticipating the next. On Our Way Home takes us deeper into the mind and heart of Christ—the best place to be as we all journey Home.”
Church Leadership & Ministry
“Beautifully exegeted. Practicing the King’s Economy reintroduces a wide-ranging, timeless, and distinctive approach to economics that only the body of Christ can display.”
Church Leadership & Ministry
“Everyone remembers that auntie or uncle who hushed our fears with the words, ‘Baby, we just gon’ pray on that.’ John Onwuchekwa is that voice for today, calling the church back to one of the simplest and most powerful tools in her arsenal—the habit of communal prayer. He doesn’t merely want to reawaken our atrophied prayer muscles; he invites us into the much harder work of reorienting our priorities so that they’re more in line with God’s. Onwuchekwa’s call to return to such ‘first things’ is an excellent start to seeing Christian communities moving in the same kingdom direction.”
Prioritizing Missions in the Church
Church Leadership & Ministry
“Thoughtful, prayerful, practical. A helpful resource for any Christian community in a season of reflecting, repenting, equipping, and sending.”
Preaching & Worship
“As I travel the globe and sit under biblical preaching among the nations, I marvel at how God richly displays his creativity through His people. When I return home, I'm likewise privileged to hear the familiar cadence and content of my African American heritage, through the solid biblical preaching of my local pastor. Say It! opens doors into the exposition and style of this African American tradition for the world to explore and learn about this rich tradition from the inside out.”
