The Holy Spirit, Women, and Mission

Women

“Dr. Julie Ma offers a vital exploration of the evolving role of women in ministry, with a particular focus on Asia. Blending personal insight with compelling stories of influential women—focusing primarily on those from the last century—Ma brings to life their work and experiences that have helped shape the church. Her integration of biblical perspectives often highlights the tension between cultural barriers and divine calling, while illustrating how these women, empowered by faith, found the strength and courage to persevere. Ma underscores their lasting contributions and urges the church to recognize, engage, and support such ministries as they confront the complex challenges of the twenty-first century.”
