Ministry Matters

Church Leadership & Ministry

“Michael Plekon weaves a tapestry of insights around tradition and innovation in Christian ministry, helpfully expanding on the insights of practical theologians of ecumenical breadth. Church is pledged toward abundant life, and Sam Wells nails it: ‘It’s About Abundant Life, Not Hell-avoidance.’ Liturgy is ‘the people’s work,’ who are meant to be teachers, prophets, shepherds, not necessarily ordained. Read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest—there is much to be tried and celebrated!”
