On Her Knees

History & Biography

“What Brenda does in On Her Knees is expose the all-too-common story of what happens when power corrupts faith communities. It’s a hard look at how the bad theology inherent in evangelicalism is lived out in our actual bodies. And, better still, Brenda is showing us all a better way to be followers of Jesus in the here and now. Said another way: the bitch can preach. Read her book.”
