A Preach Well Church

Church Leadership & Ministry

“In A Preach Well Church, pastor Josh Taylor blends transparent testimony and careful research to expose challenges that confront pastors and lead to ministerial burnout. Taylor shares from his personal experience in ministry as well as survey responses from other pastors. While painting an accurate picture of the obstacles, Taylor avoids defeatist hopelessness by offering practical tips for churches and pastors.”

Disastrous Preaching

Preaching & Worship

“In 2016, Jeff Stanfill traversed the challenging path of shepherding his flock through a devastating flood. In a labor of love, he interviewed his ministry colleagues and analyzed their responses. Disastrous Preaching bears testimony to God’s faithfulness and provides practical guidance for preachers faced with unexpected disasters.”

Politics in the Pulpit

Preaching & Worship

“How do preachers find the ‘intersection of responsible preaching and public discourse’? Eric Ayala helps the preacher look backward to find a way forward. In Politics and the Pulpit, Ayala analyzes a famous sermon series of John Chrysostom, the Homilies on the Statues. Ayala offers clear perspective on the context and rhetorical purpose of the sermons and then provides insightful principles for contemporary preachers seeking to navigate the perilous political landscape.”
