Evangelism & Missions

“Hae-Seok Yoo’s scholarly work, The First Protestant Martyr in Korea from Wales, provides a definitive and academic re-examination of Robert Jermain Thomas’s life. Utilizing previously unused primary sources, including personal letters from Thomas’s descendants, Yoo meticulously corrects historical distortions and explores Thomas’s true missiological legacy. This book is an essential resource for those seeking a balanced, evidence-based understanding of the Welsh missionary who laid the foundation for Korean Christianity.”
