History & Biography
“C. S. Lewis once wrote, 'no possible degree of holiness or heroism which has ever been recorded of the greatest saints is beyond what He [God] is determined to produce in every one of us in the end.' In Becoming Dallas Willard, Dr. Gary Moon presents in narrative a developing portrait of a modern saint, a man who both believed and lived the sober truth that real change is possible for all of us. Gratefully, Gary does not write a hagiographic account of one great man's life that awakens desire to become a truly good person but frustrates us with no idea of what to do. I intend to reread what Dallas wrote. His thoughts just might light the path to where I long to go.”
Prayer & Spiritual Formation
“From heaven Brennan speaks again with raw honesty, unassuming humility, and passionate thirst. His prayers lift my mind and soul into the wonder of grace.”

Counseling, Grief & Mental Health
“Ever since the words Christian and psychology were put together in the 1950s, there has been debate and division. But the potential good in exploring the human condition within a consistently Christian worldview remains enormous. Dr. Johnson's book paves new ground that will carry us toward a biblically congruent, spiritually clean and intellectually responsible understanding of people, our destiny and how to get there.”
Theology
“Covers a wealth of biblical material with carefully reasoned clarity and umbrella-like relevance to help us prepare for whatever difficulties life may bring. This volume represents important and profoundly useful reading for pastors and counselors and for every Christian willing to think about life as it really happens.”
Christian Living
“Dr. Jeffress brings Scripture alive with the truth God’s Spirit put into it. If you like rich, useful Bible teaching, you’ll appreciate this book. Jeffress wisely unpacks seven secrets from Elijah’s life and ministry for leading the life we were meant to live. No formulas or pat answers here. Depend on this book to guide you on the narrow road that leads to life.”

Prayer & Spiritual Formation
“In his latest book, my friend Ken Boa has restored my appreciation for the word practical. Too often, help in living the Christian life that claims to be practical offers little more than simplistic solutions to surface problems. Dr. Boa gives no such help. With clear writing, passionate hope, and spiritual wisdom, he provides biblical direction that will lead anyone hungry for God into his presence. This book deserves a careful read and an even more productive reread. Expect to discover practical guidance to satisfy the deepest longings of the human soul.”
Women
“I see dozens of women who are walking a straight line to frustration and bitterness. Longing for More really could bring them freedom. Ruth Haley Barton offers a straight line—a narrow but liberating way—to joy in the Spirit.”
Marriage, Family & Relationships
“As we read Steve and Valerie's book, many faces come to mind of folks whose marriages could be helped, saved, and transformed by the Bells' realistic, deeply spiritual wisdom and do-able suggestions. Then our faces appear in our minds -- this book is for us, too. Made To Be Loved is honest, alive, and full of counsel that will actually make a difference. Our opinion? You really ought to read this book.”
Church Leadership & Ministry
“Truth about God is not merely academic. It's passionate and practical. Seamands's treatment of trinitarian theology did so much more than inform and challenge me. It did both, but it also reached my soul where the passion to enjoy their community and reveal their character burns like a hot fire.”
Christian Living
“Some books inform. Others inspire. This one does both, but with a goal that few books reach. Ken's words have the potential to transform and to lift readers into the larger and eternal story of God. Rewriting Your Broken Story helped me to better see my smaller story as an opportunity to tell God's larger story by how I live.”
Arts & Literature
“This book reached my heart as few others. Every artist (which means every Christian) needs to meditate on Michael Card's message, not just read, but ponder, reflect, pray. The result will be a thrilling release of the Spirit from depths you hadn't before realized were there. At least, that's what happened in me.”
Church Leadership & Ministry
“In an exceptionally well-researched book, supported by years of experience as pastor, psychologist, and friend, it is hard to imagine an area of interest to pastors that has not been insightfully covered in Dr. Tan’s book. Shepherding God’s People deserves wide and careful reading.”
Christian Living
“For years, my vision for Larry has been that he live more settled, grounded in his identity in Christ and in his calling from Christ.” (Rachael) “And my vision for Rachael, an ongoing prayer, is that she rest, aware that nothing she does deepens that beauty of her already Christ-revealing soul. We sense that heeding Emily’s counsel to live on Tuesday, slowing down enough to experience life’s small moments, will move us toward those visions. Simply Tuesday could move you toward the settled rest that Jesus provides.” (Larry)”

Marriage, Family & Relationships
“Miss the radical message of this book and you'll miss the joyful point of marriage. Heed the surprising call of this book and you'll appreciate the sacred privilege of marriage that our culture fails to see.”
What's So Amazing About Grace? Revised and Updated
Christian Living
“I’m trying to remember when I’ve read a more important book. With prophetic intensity, Yancey successfully nudges aside every other worthy—and not so worthy—agenda and restores “dispensing grace” as the central mission of the church. His thesis will alienate those whose Christianity centers on something else, and he invites all who thirst for grace to make it the bottom line of their lives. The message of this book has the power to reform the church, one relationship at a time.”
