Life Abundant

History & Biography

“With Life Abundant, Paul Dekar invites the reader on two journeys—make that three. The first is the canvas—a remarkable family tree—fully populated only latterly as Paul discovered far-flung branches and twigs he did not know existed. The second is a winding career pathway he walked discerning a calling, one that shifts and turns, tossed about by the intersecting turmoil of the 1960s. The third features a cast of the famous and the humble, mentors and friendships that have lasted a lifetime. As my church history professor, he changed my life irrevocably, lighting in me some of the same flame for peace that has animated his life. This is a treasure trove of love, courage, wisdom, curiosity, audacity, and determination—one life, seeds sown in thousands more.”
