The Rapture of Michael Pryor

Fiction

“Richter has accomplished a rare feat: he has written a novel that is not only rich in theological and philosophical reflection but that is highly successful as a work of fiction. The characters and the plot are engaging, and the narrative is handled with great skill. At the same time, the book encourages the reader to reflect, and to reflect deeply, on questions of suffering, faith, science, and modernity. Strongly recommended.”
