The Inheritance Lands

Arts & Literature

“Anna King’s powerful third collection of poetry, The Inheritance Lands, fearlessly documents her emotional journey through a failing relationship while struggling to help her traumatized daughter. It immediately brings to mind W. D. Snodgrass’s Heart’s Needle with its strong, constant arc through adversity toward redemption. . . . King plows through adversity toward a hard-won peace and stronger faith.”
