Meeting Jesus on the Road

Bible Studies & Devotionals

“Using images, metaphors, and lessons from the life and wanderings of Jesus and from the spiritual practices of pilgrimages and labyrinths, the authors lead you on a Lenten journey that is engaging, exacting, and enlightening. Without sugarcoating the hardships of following Jesus, nor diminishing the joy of following Jesus, the authors provide new ways to understand the cost of discipleship—the cost of meeting Jesus on the road. From Galilee with Jesus’ ministry of healing and teaching to Jerusalem with Jesus’ death and resurrection to Galilee once again, we follow the disciples on a there-and-back journey of new beginning. This Lenton study is sure to transform your Lenten season into a pilgrimage of spiritual renewal. I highly recommend it, especially to church leaders who are seeking new and exciting material for their congregations.”
