Theology
“Why do bad things happen when a supposedly omnipotent and benevolent God is in control? Refusing to shy away from this perennially vexing question, Jon Newton responds in this book with scriptural rigor, Pentecostal commitment, and practical wisdom. You may disagree with his exegesis; you may not share his theological commitments. But his interweaving of bible, theology, and pastoral experience culminates in an important—and highly readable—contribution to this most troubling of questions. Tolle lege!”
