“This is a fun book! Eric—trail name ‘Misplaced’—takes us on an adventure with five of his friends. While many of the hiking and backpacking books currently available cover long-distance hikes, . . . this story was refreshing in that it showed that an engaging, entertaining story could be told about a long-weekend backpacking trip, a trip length that more of us can relate to. Throughout the adventure life lessons were interwoven, forcing me to reflect upon my own adventures, both on the trail and in my life. While not a man of faith myself, I was able to relate to many of the references and correlations that Misplaced made along the way. This is an easy book to read and relate to!”
