Matthew T. Martens

Biography

Matthew T. Martens has served as a trial lawyer at an international law firm in Washington, DC. Martens previously worked as a federal prosecutor, a defense attorney, a law clerk at the US Supreme Court, and a political appointee in the criminal division of the US Justice Department. Martens earned a JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law and an MABS from Dallas Theological Seminary, and is a member of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC. Martens wrote Reforming Criminal Justice (2023).
