Melvin L. Cheatham, an M.D., served as a clinical professor of neurosurgery, and was a past-president of the California State Neurosurgical Society. Cheatham also served on the boards of Samaritan's Purse and The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Cheatham wrote Come Walk with Me (1993).
