“A Meaningful World is simply the best book I've seen on the purposeful design of nature. In sparkling prose Benjamin Wiker and Jonathan Witt teach us how to recognize genius, first in Shakespeare's plays and then in nature. From principles of geometry to details of the periodic table, the authors portray the depth, elegance, clarity and pure cleverness of a universe designed to nurture the intelligent life that one day would discover that design. A Meaningful World recovers lost purpose not only for science, but for all scholarly disciplines.”

“Cardinal Christoph Schoenborn's 2005 essay in the New York Times, which seemingly condemned Darwin's scientific theory of evolution, ignited a firestorm of controversy. Yet the hasty responses did not look deeply enough into the Cardinal's words. Rather than the science of Darwin, it is the philosophical claims made in its name that the prelate upbraided. Science cannot speak of ultimate purpose, and scientists who do so are outside of their authority. In Chance or Purpose the Cardinal shows that the data of biology, when properly examined by reason and philosophy, strongly point to a purposeful world.”

“Creation and Evolution is an extraordinary opportunity for the public to listen in on the conversation as some of the greatest minds in the Catholic Church - theologians, philosophers, scientists, and Pope Benedict himself - wrestle with one of the most thorny and far-reaching of topics. Participants clash repeatedly over what we really know about the forces that shaped life on earth, over what is data and what is hype, over what certain scenarios might mean even if they were true. I recommend it to anyone who wants to know where we might have come from and where we might be headed.”

“Biophysicist Cornelius Hunter argues perceptively that the main supporting pole of the Darwinian tent has always been a theological assertion: ‘God wouldn’t have done it that way.’ Rather than demonstrating that evolution is capable of the wonders they attribute to it, Darwinists rely on a man-made version of God to argue that He never would have made life with the particular suite of features we observe. In lucid and engaging prose, Hunter shines a light on Darwinian theology, making plain what is too often obscured by technical jargon.”

Evangelism & Missions
“J. Warner Wallace presents the intelligent design argument for the machinery of the cell in crystal-clear, straightforward prose. Why do sophisticated, information-rich systems in life point insistently to the conscious intentions of a designer? Let a former homicide detective who spent a career sifting clues for signs of intention explain it to you.”
Science & Faith
“Who says accurate, cutting-edge science has to be a bore? Dembski and Witt make the biological nuts and bolts come alive and dance. They show that intelligent design is not only true, it's fun!”
Apologetics
“Benjamin Wiker masterfully traces the ancient roots of the conflict between belief in the intelligent design of the universe and atheistic materialism. This wonderfully written book is a must-read for understanding our modern culture wars.”
On the Origin of Consciousness
Science & Faith
“As remarkable as science’s progress has been, it has been completely stumped trying to explain its own foundation—the existence of conscious, rational agents like ourselves. In On the Origin of Consciousness Scott Ventureyra explores how theology and philosophy may be able to rescue science from its doldrums.”
Apologetics
“Person of Interest is a fast-paced investigation that leads to a crystal clear conclusion. Drawing on his years as a police detective, J. Warner probes the experiences of the arts, humanities, sciences, and even all the major religious traditions of the past two millennia! Wallace gathers the evidence that will leave you beyond a reasonable doubt.”
The Mystery of Evolutionary Mechanisms
Science & Faith
“Maybe, just maybe, Darwinian evolution has been a bit oversold. Luther College religion professor Robert Shedinger dives into contemporary documents as well as the historical record to show that the theory’s impressive public facade is belied by frank private admissions that even top scientists are unsure of what is the mechanism of evolution. The implications for religion scholars are immense.”
Science & Faith
“Theistic evolution means different things to different people. This book carefully identifies, and thoroughly debunks, an insidious, all-too-commonly accepted sense of the phrase even among Christians: that there is no physical reason to suspect life was designed, and that evolution proceeded in the unguided, unplanned manner Darwin himself championed.”
Apologetics
“A stellar philosophical mind ponders the latest scientific results. The conclusion: a God stands behind the rationality of nature.”
Philosophy
“Can an entire culture be in thrall for centuries to basic yet unexamined assumptions that lead it inexorably to the edge of a cliff? Steven Yates argues convincingly for the affirmative, and he issues a call to arms to the one group that might yet save the day: his fellow philosophers.”
