Fooling Ourselves with Fig Leaves

Christian Living

“This book uncovers religiosity as a human activity that hinders people from really knowing God. The author confronts the problem biblically and theologically. Since the beginning of history, religion has been used by good reputed individuals as a palliative device to assimilate the consequences of sin. This book shows the solution to the problem.”

Theologizing in the Radical Middle

Theology

“In his book, Ryun Chang calls for balance in theology, doctrine, and ministry. He shows to cessationists and continuationists that there is a certain point on the way, where both movements could find mutual grounds of understanding. . . . Then he stands in the middle upholding both Word and Spirit in healthy tension as the condition for optimal spiritual growth. These hermeneutics, of the Radical Middle, propose a pneumatology that is deeply rooted in the Scripture.”
