Delighting in the Old Testament
Christian Living
“I have benefited from Jason DeRouchie’s work both personally and professionally for decades, and this book represents yet another gift to those who would engage its content. His work is clear, thorough, and compelling. Additionally, his argument is fundamental and essential for the full and proper interpretation of the Old Testament as Christian Scripture. If you are not convinced, repent and reread it.”
God's Kingdom through God's Covenants
Theology
“God’s Kingdom through God’s Covenants is hermeneutically sensitive, exegetically rigorous, and theologically rich—a first-rate biblical theology that addresses both the message and the structure of the whole Bible from the ground up. Gentry and Wellum have produced what will become one of the standard texts in the field. For anyone who wishes to tread the path of biblical revelation, this text is a faithful guide.”
How to Stay Christian in Seminary
Christian Living
“Written by two men fresh from the trenches of theological education, this little volume is sure to help the new seminary student navigate the pitfalls of misplaced priorities, overcommitment, undercommitment, and decentralization. It is full of grace, truth, and wisdom, all the while keeping Jesus right at the center of everything. I dare say, it may even help to soften the crusty interior of those of us who have spent more than a few years serving in the context of theological education for the church.”

Old Testament Textual Criticism
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“Without a doubt, this is the best textbook for introducing students to the textual history of the Hebrew Bible. It is both comprehensive and clear as it leads students into the essential discipline of textual criticism for biblical interpretation. We are indebted to Brotzman and Tully for providing a resource that does not avoid the complexities of the text but at the same time maintains the integrity of that text in terms of inspiration and authority.”
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“Goswell has collated years of research and writing into this helpful and accessible volume that clearly demonstrates the importance of the Bible’s paratextual features and their significance for interpretation. Text and Paratext is the perfect starting point for further study in this important area of biblical studies.”
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“The translation of the whole Old Testament from Hebrew and Aramaic into English is a tremendous accomplishment, a labor of love for the church, extending back in history for over half a millennium. As Goldingay notes in his preface, there is no such thing as a perfect translation, and we have also emphasized that all translations are necessarily interpretations. With this in mind, we commend Goldingay's translation of the 'First Testament' to readers for their use in careful study and comparison with other standard Bible translations.”
Christian Living
“The Bible contains the one narrative that serves as the context for every other narrative in human history. Unfolding Grace puts on full display this overarching narrative of the Bible in the context of the gospel of God’s grace in Jesus Christ. This guided reading will remind and reassure Christians that there is a plan and a purpose for our history that will culminate in the grand restoration of all things.”
Apologetics
“Anyone who reads the Bible will have honest questions about what they encounter in it. Why I Trust the Bible is accessible, up-to-date, and sympathetic to reader’s questions. With Mounce’s help, we are better prepared “to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” (1 Peter 3:15).”
