The New Perspective on Mary and Martha

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“The story of Mary and Martha is perhaps too familiar to most of us. A new perspective is not only needed but now available. Readers of any background will appreciate the academic integrity and accessibility in this new book. Mary Hanson Stromer is a capable writer with enormous biblical perception. I plan to promote this book widely and I hope you join me.”

The Samaritan Woman's Story

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“Exposing the sexualization of biblical women that stigmatizes them as immoral, The Samaritan Woman's Story liberates women as agents of justice, liberation, and redemption. Chapter by glorious chapter, Reeder upends their historic demeaning to recover women's calling as moral and spiritual leaders. An essential tool in overcoming prejudice, dominance, and abuse, this book is needed more than ever!”

Together in Ministry

Church Leadership & Ministry

“Beautifully written, biblically incisive, and culturally astute, Together in Ministry traces human flourishing in mutual male and female partnerships. Weaving wisdom from colleagues, researchers, and thought leaders, Rob Dixon exposes systemic barriers and offers a road map unleashing the power of mixed-gender leadership. Together in Ministry is balm to the church's soul.”

Women Rising

Women

“In writing this visceral and instinctive critique of gender essentialism, Meghan Tschanz weaves her own abuse beside that suffered by the women she served globally. In searching for root causes, one answer rises supreme—women's inequality reinforced by male-only leadership propaganda that scrutinizes women's lives but leaves men's behavior unchecked. In this way patriarchy flourishes with impunity. Women Rising is a call to action for the world's women.”
