Dispersing the Clouds of Temptation

Philosophy

“Dispersing the Clouds of Temptation reminds us of what philosophy was originally meant to be: high-level conceptual thinking employed in service of real-life problems. Lightbody's tour through the notion of akrasia doesn't just help us understand ourselves better--it helps us become who we are meant to be.”

Eating Christ’s Flesh

Theology

“Eating Christ’s Flesh offers the full Steven Nemes experience: lucid argumentation, clear writing, and a frank reappraisal of ‘catholic’ Christianity that invites us to live our faith, not as an escape from the world, but as a way of living differently here and now.”
