Nicholas Halligan

Nicholas Halligan (died 1997) earned a doctorate in sacred theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas. Halligan taught pastoral theology of the sacraments at seminaries in Oakland, California; Dubuque, Iowa; and Washington, D.C., and previously served as Assistant to the Dean of the School of Theology at the Catholic University of America and as Judicial Vicar of the Military Archdiocese in Washington, D.C. Halligan wrote The Sacraments and Their Celebration, published in 2004.
