“This is a very compelling story, but knowing Eddie, I wouldn’t expect anything less. Taking stories from the Bible and establishing fictional accounts is difficult no matter the author, but I think he has given us a great visual of a man we know very little about. Having watched many different religion-based movies, especially The Passion of the Christ, I had many questions concerning Barabbas, and I feel this book does a wonderful job in allowing us to see why Barabbas may have been in Pilate’s dungeon in the first place and why he had such a hatred for the Romans. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with an interest in fictional stories based on biblical themes.”
