Is the Father of Jesus the God of Muhammad?

World Religions

“The September 11 events have been traumatic for both the West and the Muslim world. It has forced us all to seek to understand the causes and how we should understand Islam itself. Theology is fundamental to this understanding, for it is theology that has formed our worldviews, heightened our prejudices, and hindered meaningful communication between Muslims and Christians. Here is one great good that has emerged from the trauma—a humble, balanced, clear, and excellent theological statement that will help Christians to both establish their faith and share it meaningfully with Muslims. It may even help Muslims formulate a theology of their own that counteracts the strident, hate-laden propaganda of Islamists. It is a MUST for Christians seeking to understand recent events and face the future with a new confidence in the efficacy of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
