Paul L. Holmer (died 2004) earned a Ph.D. at Yale University, where Holmer was first a graduate student and later served as a professor of philosophy and theology. Holmer wrote Communicating the Faith Indirectly (2012), Thinking the Faith with Passion (2012), and On Kierkegaard and the Truth (2012).
