Perry D. Westbrook

Biography

Perry D. Westbrook (born 1916) earned an A.B., an M.A., and a Ph.D. at Columbia University. Westbrook has served as Professor of English at the State University of New York at Albany, and previously taught English at the University of Kansas, Georgia Tech, and the University of Maine. Westbrook held Guggenheim and Eugene Saxton fellowships and a Fulbright lectureship in Kerala, India. Westbrook wrote Free Will and Determinism in American Literature (2020).
