Work, Money & Leadership
“Don't be fooled by the title. This book is about so much more than money. Mark walks us through Scripture, history, theology, and real life stories to challenge and inspire us to be faithful, joyful stewards of life. This is a wonderfully thorough treatment of money and its place in the Christian life. If readers will complete Mark's suggested action steps at the end of each chapter, their life will be forever changed…and blessed!”
Steward Leadership in the Nonprofit Organization
Work, Money & Leadership
“We are indebted to Kent for this thorough presentation of the uniqueness of the steward leader for nonprofit organizations. His historical survey, biblical foundation and the chapters on the nonprofit board as steward leaders and the nonprofit staff as stewards are especially welcome additions to the field of steward leader studies.”
Church Leadership & Ministry
“For the past twenty years there has been a growing movement toward recapturing the theology of the faithful steward for the body of Christ. Much of this work has focused on the para‐church world. What has been missing is a winsome, robust and Biblically grounded resource specifically for pastors. Nathan Meador and Heath Curtis have now produced just such a resource. Written by seasoned pastors for pastors, Stewardship for the Care of Souls is an absolute gem. You will find here a compelling call to rethink most everything you thought you knew about ‘stewardship’ and discover how God’s gift of stewardship can transform your church culture and open your church up to be a place that truly preaches the fullness of the gospel. By viewing stewardship as pastoral care, Meador and Curtis have given us a fresh approach to this critical discipline of the church. I pray every pastor reads this book, and seminaries will include it in their curriculum. It is a treasure!”
Church Leadership & Ministry
“It's hard to find anyone in the Christian nonprofit world with more experience and wisdom than Brad Layland. Fortunately, he has chosen to not keep it to himself. Leveraging his years of experience and his keen understanding of the biblical approach to raising kingdom resources, Brad has provided us with a treasure trove of practical guidance and proven techniques. He has counseled thousands of development professionals and organizations in these principles. Now it is your turn. Study them, apply them, and watch God bring the increase.”
