Is Jesus of Nazareth the Predicted Messiah?

Apologetics

“Doug Scott has provided a work of superb scholarship and also an invaluable demonstration of the veracity of a key dimension of Christian faith. . . . This work is a significant contribution to both the church and the academy.”

The Relationship Between the Baptism with the Spirit and the Isaianic New Exodus

“Walter Nutt’s exploration of Lucan pneumatology through the lens of Isaiah’s New Exodus is much more than simply associating concepts and terminology. It establishes Isaiah’s New Exodus as paradigmatic for understanding Luke’s presentation of the Spirit. I highly recommend this book to everyone hungry to understand the prophetic continuity of the Spirit’s role among God’s people as powerfully demonstrated by St. Luke.”
