Ethics, Culture & Social Issues
“churchified” and pious Jesus many of us grew up with had little to do with the man and ministry revealed in the Gospels.”
Fr.
Fiction
“With this beautiful, touching and utterly believable novel, seekers will be gently invited to encounter the divine and believers be encouraged to deepen their relationships with God. I loved this book and loved the characters!”
Prayer & Spiritual Formation
“This book is addressing what I think is a foundational religious concern: Is religion primarily a belonging system or a transformational system? Is it merely about belief or is it about inner experience? The Deeper Journey is a very clear and courageous book, giving biblical themes a compelling and needed language.”
Ethics, Culture & Social Issues
“We must remember the Beatitudes are both spiritual and social wisdom. The call to 'hunger and thirst for righteousness' is also a call to come together and ensure everyone has food at the table. In the Franciscan tradition we remember that creation is the first Bible, and we can see there is enough to go around while many are yet hungry. The End of Hunger shows us the way to get there by 2030.”

“The Enneagram of Belonging is truly a pathway to radical self-compassion. As you dive into this book, you will begin the process of life-change that leads to accepting ourselves, loving others, and finding the connection we crave.”
Christian Living
“Ian Cron’s generous and hard-earned wisdom reveals that the Twelve Steps are not just for alcoholics and addicts; they are a path to a profound transformation of self for everyone. His guidance is practical and profound, offering a compassionate and joyful approach to recovery for all of us. Get The Fix, and you will get yourself back—with a newfound freedom to love and be loved by God and others.”

Christian Living
“Slowly we are unpacking the full implications of incarnation. David Benner does exactly the same in this excellent book, using good theology, psychology and spiritual practice to make the profound obvious. This is the work of all good teachers.”
Christian Living
“During a time when the popularity of the Enneagram is unprecedented and sound bites are plentiful, the depth of this ancient wisdom is often overlooked. Suzanne Stabile, using her uncommon understanding of the Enneagram, coupled with her gift of synchronicity and a deep appreciation for storytelling, offers The Journey Toward Wholeness. It will be a treasured companion for those who seek the kind of spiritual transformation that will add both peace and goodness to their own lives and to the world around them.”
The Mystery of God and Suffering
Theology
“'How can we hold together a good and gracious God with the harsh reality of suffering?' Kenneth R. Overberg responds to this perennial question with compassion and insight rooted in the Scriptures, encouraging thoughtful and prayerful pondering and action. This is sound theology in a very readable style.”
The New Big Book of Christian Mysticism
Prayer & Spiritual Formation
“Mysticism is not mystifying at all, but simple, always available, and utterly clarifying. Carl McColman’s much-needed book will allow you to experience this for yourself! Christians and all Seekers will find both meat and dessert in such a full meal.”
The Ox-Herder and the Good Shepherd
World Religions
“I probably write two blurbs a week for various books, but many times merely skim the book and try to say something good, honest, and real about it. This book I read in its entirety in one sitting -- because it is indeed very good, very honest, and very real. I vainly wished I had written it myself, but Addison is the authentic ox-herder that you need -- and will remember.”
Marriage, Family & Relationships
“Few people can teach you the Enneagram with the genuine insight, humor, and potential for real growth and change better than Suzanne Stabile! Savor every page. You, your friends and family, and the universe will all benefit!”
The Spiritual Lives of Dying People
Counseling, Grief & Mental Health
“The modern hospice movement has become a new, major, and wonderful locus and focus for theology and ministry. This collection of striking stories is an excellent example of this Spirit-led development.”
World Religions
“Too many of us have been taught that the body is bad but the spirit is good. I am grateful for McBride, who has the ability to bring together both the spirit and the body through research and her personal experience to show us how our body can also be our teacher. The Wisdom of Your Body deftly draws from ancient and contemporary sources to emphasize that if we are connected to our bodies, we are connected not only to community but also to the Divine.”
Christian Living
“Unteachable Lessons looks at many different journeys: the journeys into grief, into silence, into trust, and perhaps most of all, the journey into God. No one can take these adventures for us—but Carl McColman is a wise and caring companion on the path. Highly recommended.”
Preaching & Worship
“We Pray Freedom is a call to move beyond the confines of traditional worship into a deeper, more inclusive prayer that embraces both our humanity and our divine calling. It beckons us to hear the cries of the oppressed--not as distant voices, but as teachers of a liberation that transforms us all. The liturgies found in this collection are not just words, but powerful acts of justice and compassion that invite us into right relationship with each other, with creation, and with God.”
When Working Together Doesn’t Work
Work, Money & Leadership
“Joey Stabile Schewee masterfully accomplishes what few have been able to. She guides her audiences toward practical application of the Enneagram in secular spaces while honoring both the integrity of this wisdom and the reality of the human experience in today's world.”
Arts & Literature
“[An] utterly creative spirit is best accessed through creativity itself, through art, symbol, and poetry. God is not prosaic or predictable. . . . Open this book and be re-created yourself.”
Prayer & Spiritual Formation
“This book in particular, and Maggie Ross in general, represent a much-needed locus and focus for spirituality: deep insight and living practice over mere theology, living fire more than sweet piety, naked seeking of God and love unhindered by churchiness or smallness.”
Ethics, Culture & Social Issues
“You Welcomed Me is an urgent book that is inspiring, practical, and deeply rooted in spiritual practice. We're beloved by God and so we're welcomed and we're freed to welcome the stranger, the refugee, and the immigrant. Justice issues are also issues of our spirit, and God's generous presence transforms how we see others. In You Welcomed Me, Annan invites the reader into the freedom and responsibility of a deeper relationship with Jesus and with our neighbors. This is an essential invitation into a divine, loving way of life.”
