Bitterroot

Fiction

“Kent Gramm’s November braided history, spirituality, and memoir in writing that was haunting, moving, and lyrical. In Bitterroot, Gramm writes as an epic chronicler of the Nimiipuu—the Nez Perce—in their desperate struggle for freedom. Combining history, poetry, and lively character sketches, Gramm provides readers a memorable, sobering tale of the horrors of American racial division, even while celebrating love, mercy, and courage.”

Boundaries for Your Soul

Counseling, Grief & Mental Health

“Is there a spirit-led self within you that emanates love and can lead your inner and outer life? Is it possible for you to love your inner enemies in the same way that Jesus extolled you to love your outer ones? In this beautifully-written book, Cook and Miller not only show you how to do that but also make a strong case that doing so creates enormous enormous inner transformation and peace, turning former enemies into valuable allies. I am thrilled with the way they have translated my work for a Christian audience and believe this book is an extremely important contribution to our culture’s healing.”

Grieving Wholeheartedly

Counseling, Grief & Mental Health

“This book is an extremely valuable addition not only to the growing library on IFS and specific topics but also to the literature on how to work with grief. Audrey Davidheiser is a highly engaging writer who knows IFS well and includes clear examples (many from her personal experience) and ample experiential exercises. She is also well-versed in the research on grief and intersperses nuggets of wisdom from that literature throughout. Particularly impressive to me is how she squares Christianscriptural messages that ostensibly exile emotions like anger and fear, and also ban direct communication with ancestors, with her IFS-based embracing of those parts and inviting ancestors. I also liked her section on the problem of rigid religiousparts in Christianity. This is a must-read for Christian IFS therapists, for those who work with grief, and for non-Christian IFS therapists who have been put off by the exiling commands in the Bible.”

The Forgotten Commandment

Fiction

“The Forgotten Commandments reads like a suspense novel that kept me interested from beginning to end. It has a challenging, hopeful message that can raise environmental awareness during this critical time and help shift our imperiled planet onto a sustainable path.”

Through Dangerous Terrain

Church Leadership & Ministry

“Jennifer Baldwin lays out a timely and valuable plan for us to work with the traumas we’re all facing these days. She artfully combines somatic and neurophysiological understanding and techniques with parts work to lead us toward resilience.”
