Preparing Sermons from the Page to the Pulpit
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“Preachers who want to follow the trail of the text as they prepare to preach will find Baxter to be a most helpful guide.”
Prayer & Spiritual Formation
“In Touching God, Jon Korkidakis takes us to Scripture to teach us to pray. We learn how to pray as we listen to the prayers of believers like Hezekiah, Daniel, Nehemiah, and Paul. Korkidakis’s reflections are both insightful and instructive; he writes with the mind of a biblical scholar and the heart of a seasoned pastor. Here is a book for all who want their prayers to touch God’s heart.”
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“Wayne Baxter argues Christians have lost the place of privilege, prominence, and power in society. But that doesn't mean all is lost. Drawing from the book of Daniel, Baxter explains how those living in exile can still be people of influence. Far from defeatist in attitude, We've Lost. What Now? is full of hope. It shows how authentic Christians can impact others for Christ--even from the margins of society.”
