Following Luke

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“Bill Loader has the rare gift of making scholarship invisible. Following Luke is deeply grounded in biblical scholarship yet communicates as easily and directly to the reader as the author of Luke did to Theophilus. Following Luke is also about much more than Luke. Loader helps us to read Luke within the context of the other Synoptic Gospels and thus serves as an introduction to all the Gospels. Just as much, Loader helps us to read Luke within the contexts of our own lives as we read Luke ‘on the road.’”
