Robert D. Flanagan is an Episcopal priest in the Diocese of New York. Flanagan has served as an adjunct faculty member at General Theological Seminary and as dean's advisor at Virginia Theological Seminary, where Flanagan earned an MDiv and a DMin. Flanagan wrote The Letters of an Unexpected Mystic (2022) and edited While Mortals Sleep (2025).
