Aifreann na hÉireann

Preaching & Worship

“Mr. Ashley’s work, Aifreann na hÉireann, reflects his passion for the ancient Celtic Church and his desire that she recover her true identity and the rites that belong uniquely to her. This translation represents the moment of resurrection for this Celtic liturgy which has been hidden for so long. It testifies to the true orthodoxy of the west, and it also provides a clear reminder that early church unity was not founded on liturgical uniformity.”
