Martin Luther King Jr. and Other Poems

Arts & Literature

“In this well thought out collection reflecting on the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from his beginning through his chosen path to share the word of God and light for civil rights, Yemi D. Ogunyemi allows us to see King live out his ‘prophetic dream.’ [ . . . ] Ogunyemi continues the reflection of King’s influence on the psyche of our nation and the world. This collection is both poetic and historic, making it ever so important in the climate we currently are living in due to the results of the 2024 presidential election and its consequential destruction of the principles of King’s ‘Dream.’”
