A Little Drop of Love

History & Biography

“The Henrietta Mears story is one of distinguished Christian service in the power of the Holy Spirit. Mears was a bonafide pentecostal without the name or outward trappings of classic pentecostalism. Van Boven acquaints us with a woman who moved effectively in the supernatural, was very conscious of the need of divine anointing for effective service, had a clear sense of the prophetic, and who experienced supernatural healings herself. Among other things, Van Boven's biography compelled me to re-examine what true pentecostal outlook and service are all about.”
