Ronald R. Ray earned a BA in economics at Willamette University, an MDiv at Yale Divinity School, and a PhD on Jacques Ellul's Christian Ethic at Saint Andrews University. Ray previously served in parish ministry in Oregon and taught Christian theology, Christian ethics, and other subjects at a seminary in Nigeria. Ray's books include Ethic of Christian Freedom and Discipleship (2023), Systematics Critical and Constructive 2: With Compendium Interactions (2022), and Systematics Critical and Constructive 1 (2018).
