Ruth A. Tucker earned a PhD at Northern Illinois University and previously taught mission studies and church history at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Calvin Theological Seminary, where Tucker has served as associate professor of missiology. Tucker's books include Katie Luther, First Lady of the Reformation (2017), Black and White Bible, Black and Blue Wife (2016), and Extraordinary Women of Christian History (2016).
