“I have long awaited this book—a thorough exploration of Francis Grimké’s theological, ethical, and pastoral commitments. Drew Martin has sifted a range of materials in a compelling fashion to produce a readable, engaging, and thought-provoking treatment of this great Black Presbyterian pastor-theologian. In doing so, he demonstrates that Grimké was thoroughly committed to the whole counsel of God, which was why he preached racial justice. Martin’s book is not just an examination of the past but also a word for the present. Buy a copy for yourself, and a second for your pastor!”
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“With gentle, gracious prose that draws the reader in, pastor Cole Huffman uses the seven signs that Jesus performs in John's Gospel to lead us to wonder, love, and praise. Not only did I leave this book with a greater appreciation of the biblical scenes themselves, but even more, I grew in love for my Savior.”
Church Leadership & Ministry
“While many believers have been inspired and challenged by the idea that Christ has claimed lordship over every square inch of our world, we often don’t know how that relates to the day-to-day realities of our pocketbooks, neighborhoods, and supermarkets. Enter pastors and practitioners Michael Rhodes, Robby Holt, and Brian Fikkert, who give us not one key but six, which help us unlock not only a more faithful life of following Jesus but also a more just relationship with God’s world.”

Church Leadership & Ministry
“Burns, Guthrie and Chapman provide not only painstaking research and thought-provoking analysis in Resilient Ministry, but also even more--they provide a path forward for sustaining excellent ministry over the long haul. As a result, this book needs to be required reading not just for theological educators and judicatory and denominational officials, but also for pastors (and pastors' spouses) and lay leaders--everyone who cares about Christ, his church and his ministers. If Christ's church advances, it will only be through ministerial leaders who are resilient, committed, sustained and growing. Burns and company show us the way.”
Theology
“The Westminster Shorter Catechism rightly tells us that the chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever. And yet, ‘glorifying’ God and living for ‘the glory of God’ can often seem mysterious and ultimately disconnected from day-to-day life. In this new installment in the Theology in Community series, Christopher Morgan and Robert Peterson have pulled together a team that not only teach about God’s glory but in their very scholarship display ‘the visible splendor and moral beauty of God’s manifold perfections.’ As I read this book, I wanted to sing, ‘To God be the glory, great things he has done!’”
Theology
“Haykin and Robinson show convincingly that Calvinist commitment to the gospel of free grace has driven evangelism and missions for five hundred years. Not only does this book provide a much-needed reassessment of Calvin and missions, but it also extends its accounting through the Puritans, Jonathan Edwards, and Calvinist Baptists. In doing this, Haykin and Robinson provide a valuable resource for the church and a tract to motivate us to take the gospel to the ends of the earth in our own time as well.”
Why the Reformation Still Matters
History & Biography
“If there are any doubts over whether the Reformation still matters or whether the church needs to be always reforming, Reeves and Chester dispel them. Winsome and wise, this book provides solid reasons to be Protestant and offers biblically and historically accurate accountings of key doctrinal formulations. As Protestant Christians around the world celebrate the five-hundredth anniversary of the Reformation, they will find strong encouragement here. Semper Reformanda!”
