Artemis, Eve, and the Image of God

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“This is an important book for all who value Paul’s writings as instructive for what it means to be Christian and those concerned with the consequences of such beliefs. Joseph Brennan’s innovative approach to the Ephesian household codes explores how its first readers might have understood this text and how readers today can comprehend the spirit rather than just the letter of these laws.”
