“Douglas Brandt has woven a sometimes whimsical and sometimes deeply serious tapestry of poetry in five cycles. . . . The reward that Brandt offers as his gift to the careful reader is a rediscovery of the grace of God that permeates the days and years of God’s people—and Brandt’s poetry—the way a daylong rain saturates the soil. What a wonderful celebration this collection is of the everyday grace of the Lord that makes the hearts of his children both glad and steady!”
