Foundations of the Cross and Other Bible Stories

Arts & Literature

“Foundations of the Cross is a collection of beautifully crafted poems that sheds a fresh light on the Scriptures. . . . In the poem where Moses asks “But Who Am I?” we are given a glimpse of the all-too-human traits of those God chooses. Poems like “The Donkey’s Palm Sunday” let us know God’s love reaches out to all his creations in a thoroughly engaging way. . . . Through striking and graceful poetry, this book makes the nature of our merciful and miraculous Maker accessible to all—a significant achievement in an era that has led us to believe that God is dead.”
