The Quiet Ambition

Christian Living

“This timely book is 'for those who have not done great things,' which is to say, most of us. It charts a better way to live to Christ without adding busy activities to the tyranny of our overloaded schedules. It all starts with an apparently humdrum verse: 'Make it your ambition to live quietly, tend your own business, and work with your hands' (1 Thess 4:11). Here is a tract for our burnout times. What really matters to Jesus, Ryan P. Tinetti suggests, is attending faithfully to our simplequotidian responsibilities, quietly witnessing to the sufficient grace of Christ.”
