The Heart of a Great Pastor

Church Leadership & Ministry

“H. B. London and Neil Wiseman have hit on a focus that is often missed by many authors writing about pastoral leadership in the Church. H. B. can get to the heart of a pastor because he knows what is in our hearts. He is one of us. The challenge to “be pastors who are holy, whole, blameless, loving and filled with all the goodness of God as we do our work like He did” challenges us to the core as shepherds of the flock of the One we are to imitate. With so much restlessness in the ministry today, I share the view that “the secret is to make your assignment ideal by blooming where God plants you.” We have shared 41 years together in this ministry and still must go back to the fountain and drink again and again to keep growing. Thanks for some cool, fresh water! We will drink together. Rev. Dr. Daniel Mercaldo”
