“Dr. Nicolas Laos' book intends to revolutionize our way of thinking by providing us with a new unconventional proposal: to transcend our Westphalian interstate balance-of-power model and to orient international-political thought toward a humanity-centered world order model, in the context of which power will be conceptualized and distributed according to mechanisms of self-consciousness and of communication among conscious human systems.”
