A Biblical Case against Theistic Evolution
Theology
“This book offers a much-needed critique of evolutionary creationism (theistic evolution), focusing on its biblical deficiencies.”
Theology
“This book is the hinge book that transforms the entire field of aesthetics, art, and human delight through the reality of God, manifest in the work of Christ. We have needed it, and now it exists, a legacy for generations.”

“Bible Doctrine by Wayne Grudem stands squarely in the stream of broadly Reformed tradition on the main issues of theology, including the doctrine of Scripture, the doctrine of God, and the doctrine of salvation. By minimizing technical terminology, he makes biblical doctrines much more accessible and life invigorating for a large range of Christian readers.”
Bible Doctrine, Second Edition
Theology
“Bible Doctrine by Wayne Grudem stands squarely in the stream of broadly Reformed tradition on the main issues of theology, including the doctrine of Scripture, the doctrine of God, and the doctrine of salvation. By minimizing technical terminology, he makes biblical doctrines much more accessible and life invigorating for a large range of Christian readers.”

“This guide through the book of Revelation is exactly what is needed for individuals and groups who want to study Revelation without being intimidated. It is solidly researched and sound but written with a wide audience of readers in mind. It is engaging and winsome, with attention to personal applications. Guthrie commendably stands with readers in admitting when there are challenges and difficulties. But she encourages people not to stop when confronting challenges, but to continue to learn from what is clear in the message of Revelation. As the title indicates, the book shows us the blessings to be found in Christ.”
Christian Living
“This book is a tremendous stimulus to seeing the world as God would have us see it, and interacting with the world as God would have us interact. It helps us by showing what was always there, God’s presence in the ordinary. Creative, illuminating, and godly.”
Kenneth L. Pike: An Evangelical Mind
History & Biography
“We have needed an intellectual biography of Kenneth Pike, and now we have one, carefully researched and engagingly written. I am pleased to recommend this work, especially in the way that it provides further insights into the life and thought of a great and unusual Christian pioneer.”
Christian Living
“Nature's Case for God is an excellent exploration of the ways in which nature testifies to God. By relying on Scripture to teach us about the testimony from nature, the book avoids the difficulties involved in attempting independently to find God. Included in the book is attention to human nature, especially the testimony of conscience. This book is helpful not only for its content, but for the way in which it shows how people who do not want to pretend to be independent of Scripture can properly use the testimony of nature.”
Revelation and the Two Witnesses
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“"This book is a valuable and thoughtful contribution to understanding the book of Revelation, particularly in its treatment of the two witnesses and the role of the people of God. It skillfully reckons with the symbolic character of the visions that God gave to John, the significance of the Old Testament background, the centrality of Christ in Revelation, and the implications for Christian living.”
The Speaking Trinity and His Worded World
Theology
“Hibbs has given us an excellent book to present in accessible form the biblical basis for the centrality of language in God’s communion with us, in God’s creation and providence, and in human living. The book combines biblical exposition, practical examples, and clear, winsome writing. There is nothing like it on the subject of language!”
Science & Faith
“This book offers a much-needed, comprehensive critique of evolutionary creationism (theistic evolution), covering its scientific, philosophical, theological, and biblical deficiencies. It devotes much space in particular to the scientific side. This focus is needed because of the common, unwarranted assumption that Darwinism is doing well as measured by scientific evidence. Several articles, from different angles, show how much Darwinism depends on seeing all biological evidence through the lens of a prior commitment to faith in the philosophy of naturalism—particularly the ungrounded assumption that unguided natural forces must suffice as a complete account of origins.”
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“An excellent, detailed study on Luke, which helps to fit weeping and laughing and the blessings of Jesus into the larger theme of reversal and mercy in the kingdom of God.”
Ethics, Culture & Social Issues
“Brad Green’s book provides a readable and penetrating introduction to critical theory, a subtradition of Marxism. It describes the basic founding figures and their views but also—most valuably—critiques them from a Christian perspective. The hopes of Marxists and advocates of critical theory are a twisting and counterfeit of the Christian view of sin and hope in Christ as the remedy. This book does well to equip Christians with a basic understanding not only of these views but also of the mixture of good and bad they offer.”
