Prodigal Sons

Fiction

“John Reimer, Renaissance pastor and sleuth, returns to his Kansas Mennonite roots during a ‘sabbatical exile’ from his Chicago church. No surprise that his first official visit is the sheriff’s office in this absorbing depiction of what most seminaries don’t teach. You’ll want a front-row seat to this compelling crime novel that straddles the realms of faith and felony.”

Unpardonable Sins

Fiction

“Mennonite pastor John Reimer is the gritty protagonist I’ve been waiting for—secure in the soil of deep roots, resolute about justice and truth, unafraid to confront his flaws and theological vagaries, and confident that holiness has no coin if not fleshed out in action.”
