Life Out of Death

Bible Studies & Devotionals

“Thomas Keiser and Phillip Hall invite us to view Genesis 1 as a narrative depicting a God who specializes in creating life out of death. Their original translation work, informed exegesis, attentiveness to biblical-theological connections, and spiritual insight will illuminate readers’ understanding not only of the Creation Story, but of the whole drama of Christian Scripture. At a time when many people talk about the importance of theological interpretation, this devotional embodies the practice.”
