Accepted in the Beloved

Bible Studies & Devotionals

“I have had the great privilege to work on a ministerial team with Leslie McKinney for many years. She has an exemplary heart for God and the people to whom she ministers. Anyone who ministers to suffering women can learn much from her decades of experience leading groups and counseling individuals who have suffered abuse. What she has learned through these many years and the practical approach she has developed is distilled into this book. Insight fills every page. She is herself living out the reality of its theme--accepted in the Beloved--and her mission is to help others experience such affirmation as well. Expect to be blessed and to bless others with it.”

Forever and Always

Marriage, Family & Relationships

“The Tracys have done all of us a great service with this wise and tender book. They themselves have worked for years to achieve a healthy intimacy in their own marriage and their reflections are of benefit to everyone. Steve and Celestia are godly, caring, sensitive people who have worked through these issues over decades. Their own marriage is a mature one, tempered by suffering, and marked by devotion to God and one another. The book is a treasure trove, earthy, real, heavenly, delightful. Expect to be blessed and enriched in your own relationships.”

Relationslips

Marriage, Family & Relationships

“A delightful and accessible examination of behaviors that connect or short circuit relationships. This book is a solid, popular resource for bringing Christian people together. Former high school teacher, present pastor, loving spouse, and father of four, Rev. Jason Drapeau lives his advice every day. Recounting experiences, honestly confessing mistakes, and highlighting what works, he has created a hands-on manual, drawing illustrations as well from the Bible, books, movies, plays, news events, featuring in-text quizzes with extended explanations of what should be the right answers. This book would well suit any adult or older youth Sunday School class, small group, or family devotional time, giving insights on how relationships can be improved applying godly guidance across the broad spectrum of day-to-day networking.”

Serve the People

Fiction

“Charlie Lehman was a chief playwright and director for the legendary Berkeley Street Theatre ministry of the Christian World Liberation Front during the Jesus Movement. He brings those skills and the same vibrancy and fresh picture language to this exciting, hard-hitting story.”

The Commission

“Jeanne DeFazio is a renaissance woman interested in everything. She and her multicultural team have gathered together many thoughtful voices recounting their own true-life experiences in this thoughtful, well-written, and very wise reflection. Comparing the destructive spread of the coronavirus, the devastating conflagration of the California fires, and the destructive racism that smolders beneath culture and too often these days breaks into flames, this hard-hitting yet uplifting book, as brief as it is, makes an important human statement everyone should take the time to read and consider carefully.”

The Corridors of Strange Darkness

Christian Living

“Eugene Neville [is] one of Boston's great pastors: a pioneer in applying technology to learning, a ministering servant beloved by his people, and a treasured colleague deeply respected by all of us privileged to have ministered with him. This insightful record of his dedication to serving God in inner city ministry, despite racial prejudice and the ravages of glaucoma, will inspire all who read it. This is a record of real ministry in action.”

The People Paul Admired

Biblical Studies & Commentaries

“"These delightful first-person narratives give readers and hearers a great sense of place . . . One early church incident after another comes alive for you, as if you were there. This painstakingly researched book is a marvelous way to increase your Bible knowledge.”
